MOGADISHU — The Faculty of Civil Aviation successfully held a seminar on “Safety Oversight & Controller–Pilot Communication.”
The seminar was delivered by Mr. Ahmed Moallin Hassan, Director General of the Somali Civil Aviation Authority and a long-serving expert in civil aviation administration. He spoke in depth about the importance of aviation safety oversight, the role of air traffic controllers, accurate communication between controllers and pilots, and how good communication reduces risk in air transport.
Students had the opportunity to expand their knowledge, put questions directly to the Director General, and gain a real understanding of the issues that underpin safety in the skies.
